College Yorkshire Plate Winners 2011
Each year has a team which is run by various staff. Each team is placed in the draw for the Kirklees Cup, which is a knockout competition with the final being played at either Dewsbury Rams or Batley Bulldogs. If the team progress to the semi final of this competition then they are entered into the Yorkshire Cup. Again, if the team progress sufficiently then they qualify for the National Cup, with this final being played at numerous professional grounds. In particular the year 7 finalists play at The Millenium Stadium before the Challenge Cup Final.
There is also a 7 or 10 a side competition, depending on the year group, that happens during the summer term. These are played as round robin tournaments with the top 2 teams contesting the final.
