Expectations of the Pupils

Expectations In Lessons

Write in black or blue pen only.

No Tippex - if you make a mistake cross it out with a neat line.

Date all work, write the exercise book and page number of the textbook used.

Fold each page of your exercise book in half and use both halves, unless you are drawing graphs.

The following must be brought to all mathematics lessons:

Planner, exercise books, textbook, pen, pencil, ruler, rubber, protractor, compass and calculator.

Pupils will remain on task throughout the lesson.

No shouting out, always put your hand and wait to be spoken to.

Always put your full effort into the work.

If pupils fail to adhere to these basic standards then parents will be contacted.

Homework

Homework is the responsibility of the student at all times.

Homework is set regularly and the deadlines should be adhered to.

Homework is to be completed independently and to the best of the student's ability.

If a Pupil is having difficulty with the work set then they must seek help before the deadline.

Concern forms can be handed out for pupils who do not follow the above.
