Leeds and District Secondary Schools Swimming Finals of the Team Championships 2005

Tuesday, April 12th 2005 - Leeds Grammar School

From a series of qualifying galas held earlier in the year, HGS qualified for these finals, to which the top six schools were invited.

Congratulations to all. From an initial entry of 19 schools in an increasingly competitive event, the team did exceptionally well, narrowly failing to retain the title.

We received many positive comments from members of other schools, not only for the quality of performance but also for the standard of behaviour. All 28 members of the team were a credit to the school. Many thanks also to the parents - their cooperation and very vociferous support have been much appreciated.
