Yr8 Batley Mosque

To support the in depth study of Islam that takes place in Year 8, students visit a Mosque in Batley. Students learn about the Qur'an, preparation for prayer, and the role of the Imam. Students observe wudu - ceremonial washing, and the call to prayer. Students are encouraged to ask questions about what it means to be a Muslim in Britain today.
