This is a coursework unit. Students currently study Germany 1815 - 1933, drawing out synoptic themes throughout the period. Students will undertake significant independent reading and research, in addition to the taught cousre in order to prepare a 3000 word historical enquiry. The enquiry will focus on a historical debate and the students will use their wider reading of books, journals and articles in order to engage in that debate.
