Extended Project Qualification

Welcome to the Extended Project Qualification.

The EPQ forms part of the AQA Baccalaureate, which is the equivalent of an AS Level.

Students have the opprtunity to produce a project on an area of their choice, whether this be to broaden their A Level subject knowledge and understanding or in an area of personal interest.

Every student is allocated a supervisor who provides guidance with the planning, organising and research of the project. Students also receive a 'Survival guide', that assists with the writing process.

The EPQ not only provides additional UCAS points, but more importantly enables students who are applying for very competitive University courses to stand out from other applicants. Engaging in a research project demonstrates high levels of skill, along with broadening or deepening knowledge and understanding.
