Football

Football is a popular sport at Heckmondwike Grammar School. It is included in the Key stage three and four curriculum for both Girls and Boys.

The School has excellent facilities with three full size grass pitches at the Cawley Lane playing fields and a full size artificial pitch adjacent to the sports hall.

 All the Girls and Boys  teams compete in the following competitions from Year 7 up to the 1st XI team made up of players from Years 12 and 13. The P.E department also runs internal five-a-side events and  House football.
