YEAR 9 OUTDOOR AND ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES RESIDENTIAL - 1ST - 3RD JULY 2009
Welcome to the webpage for the Year 9 Residential Trip to the Lakeside YMCA National Centre in the Lake District.
As part of the extended PE curriculum 45 pupils in Year 9 are attending a 3 day residential outdoor and adventuorous activities course.
The centre provides an excellent location for a range of outdoor activities including kayaking, raft building and group canoeing on Lake Windermere as well as aerial slides over the Lake, walking ventures, camp fires and much more.
The Centre is approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and operates in accordance with National Governing Body guidelines.
All of the activities are led by fully qualified staff and groups are also accompanied by a teacher from school.
