This year saw a consolidation in the range of events, with the the continuing presence of a mock trial competition. With chess, poetry recital and the spelling bee building on their successful launch in recent years, there is now an almost equal balance between sporting and non-sporting events (8 and 7 respectively).
Following the completion of well over 30 competitions in the 15 different disciplines, the final standings in this year's ‘Lees Cup’ remained in the balance right up until the final events of the year.
With only the Music and the Athletics to come,the final outcome was still in doubt. However, strong performances in those events saw Priestley House emerge victorious. Coincidentally, the final order replicates exactly that of last year.
