A wide choice of courses   The majority of our students set their sights on going to University, and our courses provide first-rate preparation for this. With more than 30 A-Level subjects to choose from, virtually all career paths and interests are covered. The academic curriculum is complemented by a comprehensive tutorial programme, which includes careers education and guidance and courses in key skills. An enrichment programme designed to cater for all interests completes the provision.   All courses are taught by well-qualified subject specialists who are skilled at helping students to manage the transition from GCSE to A-Level and are expert in a variety of teaching styles. What can I study at HGS?
The following subjects are offered at Advanced level:

 
* Further Mathematics can be taken as one of your four AS level choices or as a fifth AS level subject.

** Distance Learning Courses in which you will learn through supported self-study with all notes and references provided. You will receive one-hour video conferenced tutorials as well as personal visits from the tutor.

*** Offered to AS level in year 13.
