From a series of qualifying galas held earlier in the year, HGS qualified for these finals, to which the top six schools were invited.

Congratulations to all. From an initial entry of around 20 schools, in an increasingly competitive event, the team did exceptionally well to finish 2nd.
All 29 members of the team made a significant contribution; it was the strength in depth of talent through the whole squad which allowed us to mainatain last year's 2nd place.
Many thanks also to the parents - their cooperation and very vociferous support have been much appreciated.
As this is the last event of the year, could I ask all swimmers to return team kit to me as soon as possible?
