House mock trial competition

The introduction of a mock trial competition for the first time in the Lees Cup last year represented a further diversification of the range of disciplines involved.

The high standard of performances across the board bears witness to the long period of intensive preparation which had gone on beforehand. All of those involved are to be commended for their commitment and for their skill; the standard of much of the competition, both individually and collectively, would not have been out of place at the higher level of an inter-school event. The experience gained puts these students in the ideal position to ensure that mock trial becomes a lasting fixture in the Lees Cup programme.

Sincere thanks to Mr Oxby for his time and patience in establishing this relatively new event.
