From a series of qualifying galas held earlier in the year, HGS qualified for these finals, to which the top five schools were invited.

From an initial series of qualifying galas, in an increasingly competitive event, it was clear from the outset that these championship finals would be dominated by two schools. We competed well against the reigning champions, ultimately retaining the 2nd place trophy we held from last year.
Congratulations to all 28 members of the team; each one made a significant contribution and it was the strength in depth of talent throughout the whole squad which allowed us to be so competitive.
Many thanks also to the parents - their cooperation and very vociferous support have been much appreciated.
