Jo Cox Sixth Form Study Centre

The Jo Cox Sixth Form Centre was opened in 2019 following an impressive £1.5 million redevelopment.  Named in honour of our former student and head girl Jo Cox, the centre provides our students with the space to be independent within a nurturing school environment.

The historic church hall has been fully renovated and re-furnished in a modern design, incorporating WiFi access throughout, and offers students the luxury of their own social and study space away from the main school building.

The ground floor is a bright, spacious area with ample casual seating that gives students an area to socialise. This area also incorporates the popular sixth form cafeteria, Street Orchard” which offers freshly-prepared street food and caters for all dietary requirements. The head Chef is keen to involve students in the menu options available and regularly liaises with students to for the latest trends.

The first floor, which has kept some of the original features, is a quieter, more formal study focused area, where students can work quietly in their private study periods.
