School Day
Heckmondwike Grammar School is a vibrant and busy school, with plenty of varied and interesting activities taking place in and out of lessons.
The school day runs from 8.40 until 15.15 but there is a lot more to life at school than this. Many students are involved in extra-curricular activities at lunch time and after school and opportunities exist for students of all ages to get involved in other aspects of school life. The school operates a two-week timetable, alternating between Week A and Week B.
