The forecast for Thursday is heavy rain all day.  Please make sure that you are well equipped with waterproofs, including trousers.  A reminder that rucksacks should be lined with bin liners so  that everything remains dry inside as rucksacks are not waterproof and some spares should also be brought with you. Everything should be inside your rucksack.  The only thing allowed on the outside is your sleeping mat which should also be wrapped in bin liners to keep it dry.  Walking boots are obviously essential.  The forecast for Friday and Saturday looks drier!
