Sixth Form Attendance
Excellent attendance is key to success in the Sixth Form, and all students are expected to attend school every day.
Appointments and illness
Good attendance is directly linked to success in your Sixth Form studies. All appointments e.g. medical, dental should be made outside school hours where possible. Where this is not possible, evidence will be required in the form of an appointment card or letter.
If you are unwell, school should be contacted, by your parent or carer, as early as possible (on each day of the absence) to explain the reason for the absence. If you feel unwell during the day, you must speak to your Head of Year who will decide on the best course of action.
Term-time holidays
Holidays should not be taken during term time and will not be authorised.
