Jo Cox Centre

Our Sixth Form study and social space facility, which was official named the Jo Cox Centre on the 30 January 2019, in honour of our former head girl, Jo Cox, provides our sixth form students with the space to be independent within a nurturing school environment.

The converted church hall is a modern two story building that offers students the luxury of having their own study space away from the main school building.  The groundfloor is a bright spacious area with ample casual seating that gives students an area to socialise. This area also incorporates the sixth form deli  which offers freshly prepared food daily and caters for all dietary requirements. The head Chef is keen to involve students in the menu options available and regularly liaises with students to for the latest trends.

The first floor, which has kept some of the original features, is a quieter more formal study focused area, where students can work quietly in their self-study free periods.

This modern build provides Wifi in all areas, which allows students to link their own devices needed for their studies.
