Key Stage 5
In Economics, students learn how the economy works and the various models and theories that help to explain this. Whilst Economics can be seen as theoretical, it is also important to note that students will be studying the changes that are happening to the economy and how we as the UK compare to other economies.
It is vital that students have a good understanding of current changes within our economy and those of other countries. We expect that students are reading and keeping themselves up to date with current economic events. As part of the course, students develop the skills of knowledge, analysis and evaluation and learn how to apply these to current economic situations.
