How to Register for Year 7 Entry
Registration will open at 9:00am on Monday 12 May and close at 12 noon Monday 23 June. Please note that we are unable to accept any late or incomplete registrations.
Register your child online for our Entrance Exam if their date of birth is between 01/09/2014 – 31/08/2015.
We will contact you to invite your child to sit our Entrance Examination, which is usually held in September. Information regarding the Entrance Examination can be found on this website.
We will contact you in mid-October with details of whether or not your child has met the required standard in our Entrance Examination. You should then complete your Local Authority’s Common Application Form before their deadline.
Your Local Authority will inform you on the National Offer Day (usually 1 March) which secondary school your child has been allocated. If your child has been offered a place at Heckmondwike Grammar School, you will receive further information from us shortly after this.
