Courses

Our Sixth Form curriculum is shaped around the needs, aspirations and strengths of our students, and offers a range of academic A levels.

As an academic Sixth form, we offer a wide range of carefully chosen A level subjects. This allows us to provide high-quality, specialist teaching and a rigorous academic experience that prepares you exceptionally well for university or other competitive next steps.

To ensure breadth alongside depth, you can enrich your A level studies through our Pathway Programme and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). These elements expose you to a wide range of experiences, skills and perspectives beyond your chosen subjects, including independent research, critical thinking, leadership, employability, and engagement with the wider world.

Each A level is taught over two years, with external examinations taking place at the end of Year 13. Most students opt for three subjects, and you may also choose to add an elective subject such as the EPQ, an A level in languages, or a fourth A level subject.
