We have fantastic facilities at HGS that are available for hire during evenings, weekends and holiday periods. Sports Hall (Temporarily Unavailable)

Our state of the art sports hall is home to many cricket and football clubs and has full changing facilities.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

At almost 6,000m², the MUGA provides an outstanding sporting facility. The all-weather pitch is an exciting addition to our range of facilities and is fully available to hire for local sports groups during evenings and weekends. Please note that the MUGA has no flood lighting.

The pitch has a surface that can adapt to all demands, including shock absorption for running, and consistency of bounce for ball play. Completed with an inlaid line option, the surface is suitable for a range of sports from hockey and netball to soccer, tennis and general training. Playable all year round, even after heavy rainfall, our outdoor surface offers comfortable play, quality and resilience.

Playing Fields

Our playing fields on Cawley Lane offer three football pitches, a rugby pitch and a training area.

The Jo Cox Centre

The Jo Cox Centre is our Sixth Form facility which offers an excellent two-storey modern space with state-of-the-art catering provision. It can be used for conferences, meetings and functions.
